We have been able to access a great resource to help with the financial aspect of Norah’s transplant as well as the cost of medical transportation, caring for her after recovery, funding potential living donor candidates, and the cost of her medications. Below is a tool from Cota.org that estimates the preliminary cost of all of this, and it’s just a rough estimate. This is only if our donor is a cadaveric liver. So you can see why such fundraising exists for situations such as ours.
